UNO Falls to Northern Colorado in First Match of S

The University of Nebraska at Omaha posted 11 out of 16 first place wins, Friday, October 31, but lost to Northern Colorado 161-139.
Junior Ashley Renshaw (Omaha, Millard North) paced the Mavericks with three first place finishes. Renshaw scored 1:08.87 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:28.88 in the 200 breaststroke and 2:16.42 in the 200 IM.
Junior Veronica Barna (Omaha, North) and senior Stacy Crook (Omaha, Ralston) also posted two first place wins. Barna recorded times of 11:09.16 in the 1000 freestyle and 5:27.99 in the 500 freestyle. Crook scored 1:59.19 in the 200 freestyle and :55.72 in the 100 freestyle.
The Mavericks will travel to Colorado Springs and Denver on Saturday, November 1 to take on Colorado College at 10 a.m. then Metro State and Colorado School of Mines at 4 p.m., respectively.
