Maverick Runners Take Second At NCAA Pre-Regional

WAYNE, Neb.--The UNO women's cross country team placed second at the NCAA Division II Pre-Regional on Saturday.
Freshman Des Campbell finished fifth overall in the 5k run to pace the Mavericks with a time of 23:13.
Molly Miller and Kellie Ryan followed up Campbell with times of 23:18 and 23:20, for seventh and eighth place, respectively.
The University of South Dakota won the team title. North Dakota State's Melinda Zirbel won the individual title with a time of 22:31.
