Hastmann's 73 Helps Mavs Stay in Control

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Tanis Hastmann shot a one-over-par 73 and Stephanie Oster and Amanda Stock added rounds in the 70s Sunday as the Mavericks retained their lead after two rounds of the North Central Conference women's golf tournament. The meet will conclude on Monday at Westward Ho Country Club, with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.
UNO's 305 total Sunday puts the Mavs at 613, six shots ahead of Minnesota State, Mankato and seven in front of St. Cloud State.
Hastmann is tied for first with a 74-73--147. Oster shot a 75 after an opening round 74 for a 149 total and is in fourth place. Stock carded a 76 on the 5,976-yard, par-72 Green Valley Golf Course and is at 155. Katie Etter shot an 84 and Sandy Strate an 81 Sunday and both are at 165.
Hastmann is looking for her third straight individual title and the Mavericks for their second straight team championship.
