Maverick Swimmers Finish Invite Strong

Kirksville, MO -- The Mavericks finished day two, Saturday, at the Truman State Invite with strong times.
In the non-scoring invite, UNO placed third in the 800 free relay (Ashley Barna, Stacey Crook, Lisa Wemhoff, Sarah Donley).
Junior Martina Zamecnik finished second in the 100 butterfly (:59.69) while sophomore Ashley Renshaw finished third in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.44) and junior Veronica Barna placed fourth in the 1650 freestyle (18:20.35).
UNO heads back to Omaha for their first home dual, Nov. 9 against conference opponent South Dakota State at 1:30 p.m. at the HPER Pool.
