Two Mavericks Earn Academic All-NCC Honors

Senior Michelle Ellingson and junior Amanda Mahan were selected to the 2002-03 academic all-North Central Conference track & field/cross country team on May 12.
Ellingson, a biology major and Mahan a elementary education major, each carry a 4.0 grade point average. It is the inaugural year for an academic team of track & field/cross country student-athletes.
Previously the student-athletes were recognized as part of the academic all-NCC at-large team. The select group has a combined grade point average of 3.80, including two perfect 4.00 marks. UNO senior Syd Merz earned honorable mention honors.
