BIG RAPIDS, MICH. --The Mavericks shot a school-record 302 Sunday to make up 10 shots, but fell short of Grand Valley State to finish second in the Bulldog Women's Fall Invitational. UNO's 302-322-624 was also a school record for a 36-hole tournament and was led by Stephanie Oster's record round of 73, one over par on the 5,936-yard Katke Golf Course at Ferris State University. Tanis Hastmann finished second as an individual with a two-over 74 Sunday and a 151 total. Other UNO scores included Amanda Stock 76-77-153; Oster, 83-73--156; Mandy Houtz 88-79--167; Katie Etter 86-85--171, and Sandy Stratte 85-89--174.
Grand Valley State shot a 312 total Sunday to go with its 309 on Saturday to claim the team title. Kim Keyer, Northern Kentucky won the individual title with a 72 Sunday for a 150 total.
DePauw finished third in the 19-team tournament.
The Mavericks will play Monday and Tuesday in the Laker Invitational at Grand Valley State University.
