Stock's 76 Leads Mavs Into 2nd Place

GRAND VALLEY, MICH. -- -Sophomore Amanda Stock fired a four-over-par 76 Monday to lead the Mavericks into second place in the 36-hole Laker Invitational. UNO's 315 total trails leader Grand Valley State, the host school, by three shots heading into Tuesday's final round. Stephanie Oster shot 78, Tanis Hastmann 79 and Sandy Stratte an 85 for the Mavericks. Katie Etter added an 87 and Mandy Houtz a 94. Ferris State, with a 324, and Southern Indiana, at 327 are third and fourth behind UNO in the 19-team tournament.
