Mavs, Sipe Claim Wayne State Golf Titles

WAYNE, NEB.-- Ashley Sipe carded a three-over-par 75 Friday to win medalist honors and lead the Mavericks to the team title in the Wayne State Invitational. UNO's 333 on the Wayne Country Club course was a shot ahead of runner-up Dakota Wesleyan.
UNO's other scores: Sandy Strate 83, Mandy Houtz 85, Lindsey Herrara 90 and Amber Dodge 94.

The Mavericks are next in action on Sunday and Monday in the 36-hole UNK Invitational in Gothenburg, Neb., at the Wild Horse Golf Club.
