MARSHALL, MINN. -- Amanda Stock shot a four-over-par 76 Saturday to lead the Mavericks into first place after the first round in the Southwest Minnesota State Invitational Golf Tournament. The Mavs hold a 10-shot lead over St. Thomas with a 326 total. Other UNO scores after the first round: Tanis Hastmann and Stephanie Oster 82, Sandy Strate 86 and Mandy Houtz 87. Katie Etter shot an 81 and Ashley Sipe an 87 as individuals. The Mavs will try to win their four straight tournament on Sunday at the Marshall Country Club when the tournament concludes with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
