Mavs in First After First Round at NWU Meet

LINCOLN -- Stephanie Oster's one-over-par 73 led the Mavericks into first place after the first round of the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational Friday at Mahoney Golf Course. Tanis Hastmann added a 77 as the UNO Red Team shot a 317. The meet concludes Saturday with 18 holes at the Pioneers Park Golf Course.
Amanda Stock carded an 83, Katie Etter 84 and Sandy Stratte 90 for the Red Team.
The Black team was in fourth place, with rounds of 81 by Ashley Sipe, 87 by Mandy Houtz, 88 by Allyson Yung, 89 by Amber Dodge and a 92 by Lindsey Herrera.
