Maverick Golfers 3rd at Midland Meet

FREMONT, NEB. -- The Maverick B team finished third Tuesday in the Midland Lutheran College Invitational, led by Allyson Yung's sixth-place score of 88. Morningside College won the 18-hole tournament with a 360, followed by the Midland A team at 370 and UNO at 377 in the six-team event at the Fremont Golf Club.
UNO's other scores were Mandy Houtz, seventh with a 90; Ashley Sipe, 10th with a 95, and Amber Dodge and Lindsey Herrara, who each shot a 104.
