
Mavs Take Second At UNO/CU Invite

The Nebraska-Omaha women's cross country team opened its 2003 season with a second place finish at the UNO/CU Invitational at Chalco Hills on Saturday.
The Mavericks had four runners finish in the top 10. Freshman Des Campbell finished third overall with a time of 19:50.72. Sophomores Sarah Zeisler and Kelli Ryan finished fifth and sixth with junior Molly Miller finishing ninth. Nebraska-Lincoln won both the men's and women's team titles.
UNL's Ann Gaffigan captured the women's 5K individual title with a time of 19:06.07 while Dana Carne won the men's 8K title with a time of 27:33.82.
