Oster Leads Mavs to Buena Vista Title

STORM LAKE, IA. -- Junior Stephanie Oster fired a 78 at Lake Creek Country Club Saturday to earn medalist honors and lead the Mavericks to the team championship in the Buena Vista Women's Golf Classic. The UNO Red team shot a 318 total, while the Black team finished third with a 344. Host Buena Vista was second at 323.
The Red team's scores after Oster included Tanis Hastmann, tied for second at 79; Sandy Strate tied for fourth at 80; Amanda Stock tied for seventh at 81, and Mandy Houtz at 84.
Black team scores were Amber Dodge 84; Lindsey Herrera 86; Ashley Sipe and Katie Etter 87.
