Mavs Place First in Jackrabbit Invite

Brookings, S.D.---The University of Nebraska-Omaha swimming and diving team placed first out of eight teams at the Jackrabbit Invite hosted by South Dakota State. UNO finished with 586 points, with second place Minnesota State, Moorhead following with 424.
The Mavericks placed first in 15 of the 16 events and had 10 events which they swept the first and second place honors. UNO was paced by Veronica Barna, Ashley Renshaw, Molly Connolly, Jessica Hessel and Jamie Grogan; each finishing first in two events.
UNO will travel to Kearney next Friday Nov. 19 in dual action with Nebraska-Kearney.
This year, UNO is 2-0 in dual meets and has finished second and first respectively in invitationals.
