Mavs Travel to Truman State

Omaha, Neb.---The UNO swimming and diving team will travel to Kirksville, Mo. to take part in the Truman State Invite.
In its last meet, UNO defeated South Dakota State 219-68 in the HPER pool. Senior Veronica Barna, and juniors Courtney Petersen, Jamie Grogan, and Ashley Renshaw each won two events to pace the Mavericks to victory. Two Mavericks also set automatic qualifying NCAA national marks.
Grogan won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Her score of 270.10 in the one-meter diving was an automatic qualifying mark for NCAA Division II Nationals.
Joining Grogran with an automatic qualifying mark for nationals was senior Sarah Clark, who won the 50 yard freestyle in a national qualifying time of 24.10.
Next home dual for the Mavs will be Friday, Nov. 12th at 6 p.m. when they host South Dakota.
