Track Mavs Gear Up for Second Day of NCAA Meet

UNO's Mandy Neneman will be one of several Maverick athletes to compete on Saturday as she qualified for Saturday's 60-meter hurdle final with a preliminary time of 8.88 on Friday at the NCAA II Championships in Boston, Mass. In other Friday action, Foluso Makinde placed ninth in the long jump with a leap of 18-00.25. Sarah Menghini took 13th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.53.
Menghini will take part in the 4x400-meter relay Saturday with Ashley Freeman, Laura Gass and Amanda Mahan. Kalyn Byers will also compete in the high jump.
