Stock Leads Mavs in Opening Meet

CITRUS SPRINGS, FLA. -- Amanda Stock's 54-hole total of 243 led the Mavericks in the Lady Herd El Diablo Invitational Tuesday. Stock, who shot an opening round 79, completed her rain-shortened second round to shoot 83 Tuesday, then added an 81 in the afternoon.
West Carolina, led by medalist Becka Twiner, who shot a 3-under 69 for a 219 total, won the tournament with a team score of 918. The Mavs were 15th in the 16-team meet with a 1,028 score.
