Mavs Host Ironwood Classic Friday, Saturday

The Mavericks will return to action this weekend when they host the 36-hole Ironwood Classic at Omaha's Ironwood Country Club. The seven-team tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, with the second round at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
UNO, the two-time North Central Conference champions, will field two teams in the tournament that also features teams from North Dakota, Minnesota State, Mankato, Bemidji State, Buena Vista and Chadron State.
Mavericks Tanis Hastmann and Amanda Stock shared medalist honors last year as UNO's two teams finished 1-2 in the tournament.
