Hendricks Earns NCC Coaching Honor

Tim Hendricks of Nebraska-Omaha, Ryun Godfrey of North Dakota State, Lucky Huber of South Dakota, Don Larson of North Dakota State and Mark Shuck of Minnesota State have been named the North Central Conference Indoor Track and Field Coaches of the Year. The award is voted on by the conference's track and field coaches.
Hendricks led Nebraska-Omaha to a third place finish at the NCC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Mavericks had two individual champions, Sarah Menghini in the 400-meter dash and Kalyn Byers in the high jump.
UNO will take a total of eight athletes to the NCAA II National meet in Boston, Mass. next weekend.
