Kirby, Kammrad Named NCC Honor Athletes
May 26, 2004 | General
All-Americans Stephanie Kirby and Justin Kammrad have been named North Central Conference honor athletes and are now finalists for the league's top student-athlete awards.
Kirby, a two-time soccer All-American and the only athlete to be named to the all-NCC team four straight years, carries a 3.98 cumulative grade point average in biology. She is one of eight female finalists - one from each NCC school - for the Stan Marshall Award.
Kammrad, who led NCAA II in rushing and was one of three finalists for the Harlon Hill Trophy, made virtually every football All-American team as a tailback. He carries a 3.45 GPA in elementary education. Kammrad was the NCC's most valuable offensive back while setting several school records his senior season. He is one of eight male finalists for the Stan Marshall Award.
