UNO Relay Teams Earn All-American Honors

Walnut, Calif.--The Nebraska-Omaha 400 meter and 1600 meter relay teams both earned All-American status during the final day of the NCAA Division II National Championships on Saturday.
Sarah Menghini, Laura Gass, Ashley Freeman and Laverne Monger finished eighth in the 400 with a time of 46.50. Amanda Mahan then joined Menghini, Gass and Freeman in the 1600 and finished fourth with a time of 3:41.43.
UNO finished 27th out of 60 teams at the national meet.
