LINCOLN, NEB. -- Senior Tanis Hastmann shot an 85 and freshman Kim Kuchar an 86 Friday to lead UNO to a 350-358 win over Nebraska-Kearney in a dual match at windswept Yankee Hill Golf Course.
Ashley Sipe added an 88, Amanda Stock a 91 and Lindsay Newton a 98 for the Mavericks. UNK's Bobbi Kosch shot an 84 to earn medalist honors.
The Maverick Black team shot a 360, led by Carly Froehlich at 88. Sara Wolfe shot 89, Lindsey Herrara 94, Kate O'Dea 95 and Allison Yung 96.
