Mavs to Play in Minnesota Invitational

The Mavericks will compete in the 12-team Minnesota Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The 54-hole meet will be contested on the 6,108-yard, par-72 Les Bolstad University of Minnesota Golf Course.
Other teams entered in the Minnesota Invitational include South Dakota, South Dakota State, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Augustana, St. Cloud State, Southwest Minnesota State, Minnesota State- Mankato, Winona State and an A and B team from the University of Minnesota. The teams will play 36 holes Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday with 8:30 a.m. shotgun starts each day. The UNO team will be Tanis Hastmann, Amanda Stock, Kim Kuchar, Ashely Sipe, Sara Wolfe and Lindsay Newton.
Junior Varsity in Action
The Maverick junior varsity squad will play an 18-hole tournament at the Wayne Country Club on Friday. Carly Froehlich, Lindsey Herrara, Amber Dodge, Kate O'Dea, Becky Hupp, Mandy Houtz, Mallery Poladona, Lynn Mulligan and Allyson Yung will compete.
