Relay Teams Lead Mavs at Holiday Inn Classic

LINCOLN, NEB.-- The 4x400 relay and the distance medley teams turned in third place finishes for the UNO track team Saturday at the Holiday Inn Invitational at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Rebekah Hughes, Magda Orzylowski, Laverne Monger and Ashley Freeman finished the 4x400 with a time of 3:50.11.
Molly Miller, Angela Kampschnieder, Ramona Zephier and Sarah Zeisler ran the distance medley in 12:34.88.
Taira Baker had a top five finish in the triple jump with a leap of 36-05, good enough for fifth place.
