Kyvelidou Earns NCC Track and Field Honors

Anastasia Kyvelidou of Nebraska-Omaha and Aaron Wolfram of St. Cloud State have been named the North Central Conference Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Kyvelidou, a senior from Edessa, Greece, won the 60-meter hurdles (8.62), long jump (6.09m) and triple jump (12.39m) at the USD Graphic Edge Alumni meet. Her 60-meter hurdle time is an automatic qualifying mark for the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships and broke her own school record. Her triple jump leap tied her own school record while her triple and long jumps are both provisional qualifying marks for the national meet.
Wolfram, a sophomore from Maplewood, Minn., set a personal best by uncorking a 54-foot weight throw at the Super 8 Open in Bemidji, Minn.
