Kyvelidou Breaks School Record at KSU Invite

MANHATTAN, KAN. --UNO's Anastasia Kyvelidou broke the school record in the triple jump and also won the 60 meter hurdles to pace the Mavericks at the Kansas State Invitational on Friday.
Kyvelidou's leap of 40-04 3/4 broke the previous mark of 39-10 3/4 set by Melissa Meisinger back in 2003. Kyvelidou finished the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.74.
The Mavs also grabbed titles in the 200 meter dash (Laverne Monger; 25.08), the mile run (Molly Miller; 5:20) and the 3000 meter run (Kellie Ryan; 10:44).
In all, UNO finished with 17 top three finishes.
