Runners Capture Wayne State Invitational

WAYNE, Neb. --The UNO cross country team swept the top six places and won the Wayne State Invitational on Saturday.
Sophomore Tahnee Tuenge (North Platte, Neb.) won the individual title for the Mavericks in the 5k race with a time of 19:24. Senior Kellie Ryan (Plattsmouth, Neb.) finished second (19:26) and senior Sarah Zeisler (Butte, Neb.) was third (19:31). Sophomore Kaylen Harris (Bellevue, Neb.) checked in with a fourth place finish (19:37) while sophomore Kellie Mertes (Brownville, Neb.) and senior Allison Gorman finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Freshman Magann Venteicher (Omaha, Neb.) finished 12th.
