Mavs Have Solid Showing at USD Invite

VERMILLION, S.D.--Nebraska-Omaha dominated the South Dakota Invite on Friday afternoon as six runners finished in the top 10 at the three-team meet.
Tahnee Tuenge led the Mavs with a second place finish in the 5k race and turned in a time of 18:33.24 at the Don Baker Cross Country Course. Kellie Ryan, Sarah Zeisler, Kellie Mertes, Kaylen Harris and Allison Gorman all finished within two minutes of Tuenge's pace. Magann Venteicher checked in at 14th place for UNO.
USD's Aimee Nielson won the event with a time of 18:20.76. Mount Marty was the other college participating in the meet.
