Shuttle Buses to Be Available for Saturday Events

When thousands of fans make their way to the UNO campus Saturday for three major sporting events, parking places may be at a premium. In response, the Athletic Department will provide shuttle buses from the University's South Campus to the Fieldhouse in an effort to increase parking areas. The buses will be running from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The Kaufman-Brand wrestling tournament will begin at 9 a.m. at Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse at 8 a.m. In addition, the Mavericks' NCAA II football playoff game will kickoff at 12:05 p.m at Caniglia Field and a swimming meet in the HPER building begins at noon.
Besides surface parking, fans are encouraged to park in the 1,500-car, three-level parking garage located east of Caniglia Field, or to use lots on the South Campus.
The shuttle buses will pick up fans at the kiosk located near lots 5-6 and will deliver fans at the head of Maverick Drive just west of Sapp Fieldhouse.
The South Campus lots are located near 67th and Pine Streets.
