Mavs in Second After Day One

Omaha, Neb.--The University of Nebraska-Omaha swimming and diving squad is currently in second place after one final round of competition Wednesday as they host the North Central Conference men's and women's championship. UNO follows first place North Dakota with 64 points to UND's 69.
Two Maverick swimmers recorded B-cut qualifying times in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
Senior Veronica Barna (Omaha, Neb.) finished fourth in the 1,000-yard freestyle posting a time of 10:47.85. Mav sophomore Megan Jamieson followed Barna recording a time of 10:51.56.
Competition will resume Thursday morning with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and finals starting at 6 p.m.
