UNO Seventh After Two Days

WINTER PARK, Fla.--The Maverick swimming and diving team jumped two places to seventh with 136 points after day two at the Division II Championships hosted by Rollins College.
UNO used five top-ten finishes Thursday to vault the team into its current position.
Thursday's top performance came from the 200 freestyle relay team of Bridgette Schram, Molly Connolly, Sarah Clark, and Lisa Wemhoff that recorded a time of 1:35.24 for a sixth place finish.
Other top ten performances included Martina Zamecnik finishing seventh in the 100 butterfly logging a time of 56.37 seconds. The 400 medley relay team comprised of Katie Liebman, Ashley Renshaw, Zamecnik, and Clark took home an eighth place finish as they swam a time of 3:56.59. Teammates Courtney Peterson and Renshaw finished ninth and tenth repspectively in the 400 individual medley.
