
Mav Trio Sweeps Heptathlon at D-II Challenge

UNO had a clean sweep of the top three spots in the heptathlon at the Godfather's D-II Challenge held at Emporia State University on Friday.
Nebraska-Omaha's Anastasia Kyvelidou automatically qualified for the NCAA II Championships by capturing the individual title with a school record 5,437 points.
Debbie Akerly (5,006 points) and Kalyn Byers (4,694 points) finished second and third, respectively and have provisionally qualified for the national meet.
UNO will continue competition at the meet on Saturday with events beginning at 10 a.m.
