Mavericks 2nd in Augustana Tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Amanda Stock fired a four-over-par 76 Saturday and finished third to lead the Mavericks to a second-place finish behind Minnesota State, Mankato.
UNO's 316 total on the 5,800-yard, par-72 Prairie Green Golf Course was 11 shots in back of MSU. Southwest Minnesota State finished third with a 330 total. MSU's Danielle Johnson shot a 73 to win the individual title.
Freshman Sara Wolfe shot a 77 to finish fourth and senior Tanis Hastmann fired a 78 to tie for fifth in the tournament.
UNO's other scores were an 85 by Mandy Houtz and an 86 by Lindsay Newton. Allyson Yung shot a 79 and Lindsey Herrera an 83 while competing as individuals in the tournament.
The Mavericks' next action will be this weekend when they host the Ironwood Collegiate Classic at Ironwood Country Club Friday and Saturday.
