Mavs Total 5 Titles at Doane Relays

CRETE, NE -- The Nebraska-Omaha track team had an impressive showing at the Doane Relays, capturing five titles on Saturday afternoon.
Anastasia Kyvelidou won the 100-meter hurdles (14.24) and 200-meter dash (25.83). Debbie Akerly finished second in the 100-meter hurdles (14.64) and placed first in the long jump (18-08 1/4). Akerly joined Laverne Monger, Ashley Freeman, Magda Orzylowski and Ashley Freeman on the winning 4x100 relay team (47.54).
Freeman, Orzylowski, Monger and Rebekah Hughes also won the 4x400 relay team with a time of 3:53.
