Relay Teams Advance at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, IOWA -- The Maverick 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams qualified for Saturday's finals at the Drake Relays on Friday.
Laverne Monger, Rebekah Hughes, Ashley Freeman and Foluso Makinde finished the 4x100 race with the sixth best time (47.97).
Magda Orzylowski then joined Monger, Hughes and Freeman in the 4x400 where they rounded out the eighth and final spot for Saturday's final with a time of 3:53.07.
