UNO Takes Home 3 Titles at Concordia Meet

SEWARD, NE -- The Nebraska-Omaha women's track team performed well at the Concordia University Invite Saturday, bringing home titles in three different events.
Ashley Freeman took first place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.05 and also finished second in the 200-meter race. Foluso Makinde won the long jump title with a leap of 19-07 1/2. Anastasia Kyvelidou broke the school record in the triple jump with a mark of 40-09 1/2.
In all, the Mavericks had 14 top 3 finishes.
