Mav Trio Leads After 1st Day of NCC Heptathlon

GRAND FORKS, ND -- UNO's Anastasia Kyvelidou broke the school record in the 100 meter hurdles and is the overall leader of the North Central Conference heptathlon after the first day of competition.
Kyvelidou leads the field of 10 athletes with 3,269 points. Her time of 13.81 in the 100 meter hurdles breaks the old school record of 13.89 set by Sue Delcastillo.
Kyvelidou is joined by teammates Debbie Akerly (2,905 points) and Kalyn Byers (2,850 points) who hold down second and third place, respectively.
Julie Gass is in seventh place with 2,511 points.
