Makinde Garners All-American Honors

ABILENE, TX -- Nebraska-Omaha's Foluso Makinde earned All-American honors in the long jump by placing second with a leap of 19-09 3/4 during the first day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Anastasia Kyvelidou sits in second place after day 1 of the women's heptathlon. Kyvelidou racked up 3,333 points in four events and trails Seattle Pacific's Danielle Ayers-Stamper by 69 points.
UNO's Debbie Akerly is in fourth place in the heptathlon with 3,116 points while teammate Kalyn Byers is in 10th with 2,921 points.
