Mavs Ready to Host NCC Championships

The UNO women's track and field team continues preparations for this weekend's North Central Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
UNO will serve as the host school for the event and the meet will be held at Omaha Burke High Schoool on Friday and Saturday.
Events will begin at 9:00 a.m., both days.
Nebraska-Omaha has a 16-point lead over South Dakota after last week's North Central Conference heptathlon in Grand Forks, ND. UNO's Anastasia Kyvelidou was first (5,512), Debbie Akerly was second (4,843), and Kalyn Byers was fifth (4,535) to give the Mavs 23 team points.
