Mavs Rank No. 25 in All-Scholar Team Standings

The UNO golf team was ranked No. 25 in the National Golf Coaches Association all-scholar GPA team award standings and three Mavericks were All-American Scholar recipients for their work in the classroom.
The standings use the collective grade point average of the team and include all women's collegiate golf programs regardless of division. South Carolina's collective GPA of 3.752 led the list. UNO's collective team GPA was 3.408.
Individuals must achieve a 3.50 GPA to be included among the 122 golfers who were recognized. Carly Froehlich, a freshman in 2004-05 from Norfolk, Neb.; Tanis Hastmann, a senior from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Ashley Sipe, a senior from Ottumwa, Iowa, were the three Mavs honored.
