Mavs Capture Wayne State Invitational Title

Wayne, Neb.--- Nebraska-Omaha edged Winona State by one stroke, 329-330, to win the Wayne State College Women's Fall Golf Classic played Friday afternoon at the Wayne Country Club.
UNO's Carly Froehlich won the individual title with an 80, winning a scorecard playoff over teammate Lynn Mulligan.
Nebraska-Omaha's Amber Dodge finished with an 84, while teammate Sara Wolfe shot an 85.
Dana College finished third in the team standings at 361, followed by Northwestern (365), Morningside (380), Midland Lutheran (387), Doane (394)
and Wayne State at 408.
The Mavericks continue action this weekend at the 54-hole Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bear Invitational Saturday and Sunday in Okoboji, Iowa.
