Fund Established to Assist McCormick

The effects of Hurricane Katrina have touched the UNO Athletic Department family. Maverick football player Josiah McCormick, his parents, his 13 brothers and sisters and their families, and his six-year-old daughter are all in desperate need of help. UNO Athletics has received approval from the NCAA to take up a collection to give to his family.
Checks may be submitted as donations, payable to the Student Athlete Advisory Board (or SAAB). The checks may be addressed to the UNO Athletic Department to the attention of Sandy Higdon, academic coordinator, Room 239, Sapp Fieldhouse.
