Iowa State Open Next for Mavs

The Maverick track team will head to Ames, Iowa this weekend to take part in the Iowa State Invite, held at the Lied Recreation Facility. The meet will start with the women's weight throw at 4 p.m. on Friday and end with the finals of the men's 5000-meter run, scheduled for 6:55 p.m. The action will continue on Saturday with the start of the women's 3,000-meter run at 10:25 a.m. Field events begin at noon with the men's pole vault and the day's activities end with the men's 4x400-meter relay, scheduled at 5:40 p.m.
