Bartholomay Goal Highlights Maverick Scrimmage

Sophomore forward Adam Bartholomay scored the only goal in a fast-paced Red-White scrimmage Saturday afternoon at the Tranquility Ice Arena as the Mavericks went through final preparations before playing their first game next week.
Bartholomay smacked a rebound past goalie Eric Aarnio at 9:58 of the second period of the two-period workout. Senior forward Nenad Gajic, whose shot was stopped by Aarnio, earned the assist.
The Mavericks will hold Media Day on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Qwest Center before opening competition with an exhibition game Tuesday night at 7:05 against the University of Manitoba.
