UNO Finishes 7th at Regional Cross Country Meet

WAYNE, Neb. -- The UNO Maverick cross country team narrowly missed advancing to the NCAA II National Meet, finishing seventh at the NCAA II North Central Regional Meet Saturday morning held on the campus of Wayne State College. The top Maverick runner was junior Kaylen Harris, who finished in 27th place with a time of 23:01.20.
The top six teams in the 24-team meet and the top two individuals not part of the top six teams qualified for Nationals to be held Nov. 18 in Pensacola, Fla.
