Kline Gets Mavs Off To Good Start at NCC Champions

Grand Forks, N.D.--Freshman Lindsey Kline won the 1000 Freestyle event to kick off the 2006 North Central Conference Championships Wednesday night.
Kline finished the event in 10:30.16, while North Dakota took second and third in the event with Laura Mickelson coming in second (10:34.52) and Katie Chmielewski finishing third (10:39.34).
Kline's time in the 1000 freestyle event, was also good enough to earn her a B-Cut qualifying time.
The Mavericks currently sit in fourth place after only one final round event on Wednesday. UNO trails host school North Dakota(61), St. Cloud State(35), and South Dakota(25).
On Thursday, preliminary action begins with a full slate of events beginning at 10 a.m, with finals held during the evening session at 6 p.m.
