Renshaw Becomes Four-Time Champion

Grand Forks, N.D. -- Senior Ashley Renshaw became a four-time champion at the 100 yard breaststroke on Thursday night as the Mavericks remained in second place at the NCC Championships.
Renshaw becomes the ninth person to become a four time champion, which has been accomplished 13 times in NCC history.
Junior Sheena Kafka won the 1 meter diving event(409.95), while senior Jamie Grogan took home third.
In other action freshman Lindsey Kline placed second in the 200 free event, while senior Sarah Donley placed third respectively.
UNO remains in second place after Day 3, trailing North Dakota 678-524. Every race on the women's side resulted in A-cut winning time.
On the men's side, Rodrigo Ferreira of North Dakota, broke the NCAA mark in the 100 backstroke, as North Dakota leads second place St. Cloud State 803-351.
The NCC will conclude tomorrow with the morning session filled with preliminaries, with the finals held during the evening sessions.
