Mavs in Seventh After Day Three

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Mavericks used five top 10 finishes to vault into seventh place with 150 points after day three at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.
Friday's top performance came from the senior Jamie Grogan, when she placed third(364.55)in the 1 meter diving event while junior Sheena Kafka added to the Mavs' point total with an eighth-place finish.
Ashley Renshaw finished fifth in the 100-yard butterfly event (1:05.17), while sophomore Jessica Hessel took home sixth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.32)
The 800-yard freestyle relay team of Sarah Donley, Courtney Peterson, Hessel and Renshaw finished in sixth place(7:42.90)after posting the top trial time earlier in the day.
Truman State continues to lead the competition with 484 points, followed by Drury with 362 points.
