UNO Finishes Sixth at NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Mavericks swimming and diving team added four more top 15 finishes on day four to finish sixth with 194 total points at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday.
The Mavericks sixth place finish, extended its own streak of top ten team finishes to seven. It is also the highest the Mavericks have ever finished at the NCAA Championships.
The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Lisa Wemhoff, Bridgette Schram, Beth Roach and Jessica Hessel posted a time of 3:32.03, good enough for 7th place.
Ashley Renshaw also earned a 7th place finish for the Mavericks at the 200 yard breaststroke event with a time of 2:22.60
Other top 15 finishes for the Mavericks includes Lisa Wemhoff's 14th place (:53.08) finish at the 100 yard freestyle event. Freshman Lindsey Kline placed 12th in the 1650 free event with a time of 17:37.99
