Mavs in Twelfth After Day One

Indianapolis, Ind.- The Mavericks, aided by four top 15 finishes are in 12th place after day one at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. Truman State leads the team competition.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Beth Roach, Ashley Renshaw, Jessica Hessel and Lisa Wemhoff finished 14th, recording a time of 1:49.22
Ashley Renshaw brought in the Mavericks only top 10 finish on the day, when she finished 10th in the 200-yard IM at 2:08.25
Jamie Grogan finished 12th (326.60) in the 3-meter diving event while Lisa Wemhoff posted a 24.18 time in the 50-yard free event, which was good enough for 12th.
The Championships will resume Thursday with trials starting at 10:30 a.m.
